IT Site Lead

Leidos is seeking an IT Site Lead to own day-to-day IT operations at a critical customer location. In this role you will oversee on-site infrastructure, networks, endpoints, and local support teams to deliver secure, reliable services for mission-focused programs. You will coordinate incident response, manage vendors, ensure compliance with cybersecurity and ITIL processes, and drive modernization initiatives. Partnering closely with program and security leaders, you will plan upgrades, optimize performance, and mentor technicians while modeling Leidos' culture of integrity, innovation, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day on-site IT operations for a critical Leidos customer location.
• Oversee infrastructure, networks, servers, and endpoints to ensure high availability and performance.
• Coordinate and prioritize service desk, incident response, and problem management activities.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, access control, and ITIL-based service management processes.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, patching, and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with program, security, and business stakeholders to align IT services with mission needs.
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers supporting site technology.
• Monitor and report on IT performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Mentor and guide local IT technicians, fostering a culture of integrity and collaboration.
• Document configurations, procedures, and continuity plans for critical IT services.
