Data & Reporting Analyst PMO

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data & Reporting Analyst to support the Information Technology Services (ITS) Project Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data governance, data quality management, reporting, dashboard development, and system integrations.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate project and portfolio data, developing executive-level dashboards, identifying data quality issues, and delivering actionable insights to support leadership decision-making. Experience with ServiceNow, Power BI, Smartsheet, Jira, and Microsoft Power Platform is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain data governance standards, data quality rules, and reporting controls across PMO systems.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards using Power BI, ServiceNow, and Smartsheet.

• Build and maintain integrations, connectors, and APIs between ServiceNow, Power BI, Smartsheet, Jira, and other systems.

• Analyze project and portfolio data to identify missing information, duplicate records, inconsistencies, reporting discrepancies, and trends.

• Prepare executive dashboards, scorecards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Portfolio Managers to investigate data issues and implement corrective actions.

• Automate recurring reporting processes using Microsoft Power Platform tools.

• Validate reporting outputs to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and presentation readiness.

• Provide recommendations for improving data quality, reporting processes, automation, and governance practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in data management, reporting, analytics, and data governance.

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Power BI, Smartsheet, and Jira.

• Experience with ServiceNow reporting and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps.

• Experience developing system integrations, connectors, or APIs for consolidated reporting.

• Strong knowledge of data profiling, data cleansing, data validation, data quality, and data governance.

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

• Experience preparing executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid Candidates must be able to work on-site in Boston, MA, three days per week.
