Senior Research Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce's client in NYC is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to support a streaming third-party research team responsible for analyzing content consumption, audience trends, and competitive positioning across SVOD, FAST/AVOD, television, and video on demand platforms. This role is onsite in New York City 5 days a week.

Summary

The Senior Research Analyst will partner with research leadership to create recurring audience reports, maintain dashboards for stakeholders, and conduct analysis using syndicated and proprietary research sources. This role will identify trends, translate data into clear insights, support ad hoc competitive and communications requests, and help improve how industry and company performance updates are shared with internal teams.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 1 to 2 years of research, analytics, audience measurement, media, or entertainment industry experience
• Strong analytical curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to interpret viewing trends across streaming, television, FAST/AVOD, SVOD, and video on demand platforms
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and stakeholder-ready insights using audience research data
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Domo, or similar platforms
• Experience with syndicated reporting databases and audience measurement tools such as Nielsen N-Power, Comscore, or similar
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to organize large datasets and present findings clearly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell a clear story using data
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, support ad hoc requests, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Lake5, Python, SQL, R, or similar analysis tools is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
