Application Development Support

Location: Oklahoma City, OK Salary: $35.00 USD Hourly - $40.00 USD Hourly Description:
Position Summary
The Consumer Protection Services Division is seeking development support for a new Inspections application. The application will enable field inspectors to:

• Collect agricultural inspection data through online forms
• Save collected data into a SQL database
• Generate and store PDF documents

The existing inspections system is scheduled for decommissioning in Spring 2027, and the replacement system is being developed internally. The role requires a developer with beginner to intermediate experience, particularly in JavaScript and SQL.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities

• Convert approximately 70 existing fillable PDF inspection documents into interactive HTML forms
• Build JavaScript functionality to capture and save inspector inputs into a SQL database
• Use Jinja templates to compile collected data into PDF documents
• Support data collection workflows for field inspectors

Secondary Responsibilities

• Provide JavaScript development support as needed
• Assist with ongoing development efforts to help keep the project on schedule
