Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend / Enterprise Application Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring, Oracle, SOA, and RESTful services and a proven ability to design, develop, test, and deploy resilient applications that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test applications for business units.


• Contribute to application development and maintenance activities across the lifecycle.


• Participate in requirements discussions and provide technical input.


• Drive application design and implement software to specifications.


• Collaborate with QA and performance testing to meet tollgate criteria.


• Work with support teams to deploy releases and resolve defects.


• Support proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Java, Core Java/J2EE, Spring, and Oracle.


• Understanding of SOA, web services, and REST APIs.


• Hands-on experience with Spring and Hibernate.


• Proficiency with build and CI tools such as Maven and Jenkins.


• Strong problem-solving skills with ownership and delivery focus.


• Experience conducting proofs of concept for new technologies.


• Working knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Messaging technologies such as MQ and Kafka.


• Microservices architecture and API design.

Role Logistics

• Start date: ASAP. Expected start 2-4 weeks after offer to meet business needs.


• Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.


• Approved locations and bill rates: Jersey City, NJ (NJ2-525-28-02) - $96.93/hr; Plano, TX (TX2-982-02-22) - $96.93/hr; Charlotte, NC (NC1-021-04-20) - $92.40/hr.


• Glider candidate ID verification required.
