The Role

• Monitor outstanding debts and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure positive cash flow.
• Liaise with customers to facilitate timely payments and maintain strong business relationships.
• Build client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
• Proactively manage overdue accounts and implement company procedures.
• Resolve internal and external queries related to outstanding invoices.
• Process payments and maintain accurate customer records.

What You'll Need

• Ideally a background in finance.
• Desirable credit control experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably involving phone or in-person communication.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Computer literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel/Teams).
• Experience working towards targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
