Business Analyst / QA Analyst (Local to Boston area only)

Job Title - Business Analyst / QA Analyst

Location - Boston, MA (Remote)

Contract -1 year with high possibilities of extension

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, or hybrid BA/QA resource on software, Salesforce, case management, or enterprise system projects.
• Ability to work with SMEs and stakeholders to clarify business needs and document expected system behavior.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and defect documentation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to break complex issues into clear requirements and testable outcomes.
• Understanding of Agile delivery practices, backlog refinement, sprint cycles, and defect triage.
• Experience with functional testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and release validation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation, testing, and issue tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow issues through from refinement to validation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce or another enterprise case management platform.
• Experience in public-sector, court, probation, legal, or other complex operational environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, test management tools, or similar delivery platforms.
• Experience supporting system modernization, vendor transition, or post-go-live stabilization.
• Basic understanding of data migration, integrations, permissions, reports, dashboards, and workflow-driven systems.
• Experience working directly with operational SMEs and translating field feedback into system requirements.
