Retail Domain Experience: Candidates should have strong understanding of

• Retail workflows and business processes
• Enterprise data elements
• Data dependencies and module interdependencies
• Legacy application modernization
• Retail data models

Additional Required Experience:

• Experience designing data models for modern web applications
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data
• Strong understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases
• Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to mentor junior data modelers and architects

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop enterprise data models using Erwin.
• Lead data modeling for modernization and re-architecture initiatives.
• Reverse engineer existing data models and develop future-state architectures.
• Define and implement data governance and data management practices.
• Evaluate and recommend database technologies on Google Cloud Platform.
• Work across DB2, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, BigQuery and related platforms.
• Collaborate with business, technical and cross-functional teams.
• Support Domain Driven Design principles and architectural best practices.
• Provide technical guidance across complex data architecture initiatives.
• Mentor junior data modelers and architects.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
