The Role

• Develop, test, and validate vehicle-based gasoline engine calibrations.
• Ensure world-class fuel economy and drivability while meeting emission standards.
• Plan, generate, and verify feature calibrations across various environmental conditions (hot, cold, high altitude).
• Analyze and solve complex system problems related to engine performance, fuel consumption, emissions, and OBD.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engine development, powertrain controls, and vehicle teams.
• Evaluate new engine and after-treatment hardware and technologies for future applications.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in gasoline engine calibration development.
• Ability to manipulate and analyze large, complex datasets related to engine mapping.
• Strong understanding of engine performance, fuel economy, emissions, and OBD principles.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering teams.
• Familiarity with developing standard hardware and calibration processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
