Job Summary
Seeking a skilled WAN Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-wide network infrastructure and WAN connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Design and support enterprise WAN, LAN, and data center networks.
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPsec, QoS, TCP/IP, and related protocols.
- Manage Cisco routers, switches, and other enterprise network platforms.
- Support hybrid-cloud and multi-site network connectivity.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
- Troubleshoot complex network incidents and provide root-cause analysis.
- Implement high-availability, redundancy, and network security solutions.
- Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure modernization.
- Work with carriers, vendors, and cross-functional teams on network initiatives.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with WAN technologies and routing protocols.
- Strong Cisco networking experience (Nexus, Catalyst, ASR/ISR).
- Experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPsec, QoS, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with enterprise-scale, multi-site environments.
- Strong understanding of network security and high-availability architectures.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred
- SD-WAN experience.
- AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform networking experience.
- Network automation and monitoring experience.
- CCNP or equivalent certification.
