Quality Auditor - Scientific - I (Assistant)

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Quality Auditor - Scientific - I (Assistant) for an Onsite position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Elkhorn, NE. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role will support manufacturing operations and will be primarily responsible for the review of completed production batch documents. The ideal candidate will provide documentation guidance from a quality compliance perspective, leveraging knowledge of Animal Health standards, USDA regulations, and cGMP. This position involves working in a clean manufacturing lab environment, with a mix of office-based document review and time spent in manufacturing areas to learn processes and build relationships.
Responsibilities:

• Perform review of completed production batch documents for multiple departments
• Provide documentation guidance from a quality compliance perspective based on local and global standards, USDA regulations, and cGMP
• Track and prioritize document reviews based on target release dates and communicate status to relevant groups
• Assist with document archival tasks
• Provide quality support by assisting in inspections, investigations, and compliance actions
• Support the review and release of printed packaging and raw material components
• Assist with quality systems tasks such as deviations and change controls
• Participate in Quality Compliance Inspections from regulatory agencies

Requirements:

• H.S Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of work history OR H.S Diploma with 1 year of experience in a similar industry
• Ability to maintain detailed focus while reviewing paper documents for significant portions of the workday
• Attributes of critical thinking, problem solving, and disciplined judgement

Desired skills:

• Degree in microbiology, chemistry, or similar scientific discipline
• Familiarity and/or experience with vaccine manufacturing and/or testing
• Familiarity and/or experience with USDA and/or FDA regulations and inspections
• Experience in GMP and Quality Management Systems
• Familiarity and/or experience with SAP or similar systems

Pay range: up to $25.52 per hour
