Description:
Diversified Systems is searching for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to serve in a critical technical role within the Client's Enterprise Service Management team. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality, secure, and compliant ServiceNow solutions within a FedRAMP-authorized environment. The successful candidate will possess advanced ServiceNow development expertise, strong platform knowledge, disciplined SDLC practices, and the ability to collaborate with architects, project managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, and enhance ServiceNow applications, integrations, and custom solutions aligned to Client and enterprise standards.
• Build high-quality, secure, and scalable code following best practices and FedRAMP compliance guidelines.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for platform defects, performance issues, and complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to refine requirements, evaluate design options, and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and maintaining quality across the Enterprise Service Management development team.
• Support monthly releases, regression testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, and platform stability efforts.
• Maintain technical documentation, including workflows, test scripts, requirements, and architectural artifacts.
• Mentor junior developers and delegated agency developers on best practices, development standards, and enterprise governance.
• Ensure compliance with platform governance, security requirements, and RACI-defined responsibilities for enterprise and agency development.
• Stay current on ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends and apply modern approaches to improve platform reliability and performance.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements, coding standards, and modernization of development methodologies.

Requirements:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), developer-adjacent certification, module-specific certification, or similar certification required.
• 5 years of ServiceNow development experience including Script Includes, Business Rules, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Client Scripts, API integrations, and scoped applications required.
• Strong understanding of secure development in regulated environments, including FedRAMP and GCC High required.
• Experience supporting complex enterprise workflows, ServiceNow integrations, and release cycles required.

Highly Desired Skills:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) highly desired.
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), developer-adjacent certification, or module-specific certification highly desired.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders highly desired.
