Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience in delivering high-quality software through strong automation practices. The candidate must have expertise in web and mobile (Android & iOS) automation, with hands-on experience in Playwright and Selenium. This role involves designing scalable automation frameworks, ensuring end-to-end quality, and working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Playwright (mandatory)
• Selenium WebDriver
• Experience in Web Automation Testing
• Experience in Mobile Automation (Android & iOS) using Appium/XCUITest/Espresso
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
• Strong knowledge of test framework design and automation best practices
• Experience with API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with Git and test management tools like JIRA/TestRail
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies

Duties and Responsibilities

• Automation & Testing:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and mobile applications
• Build and execute automated and manual test cases ensuring high test coverage
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
• Process & Quality:
• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and quality metrics
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
• Identify areas for automation and process improvement
• Perform defect tracking, reporting, and root cause analysis
• Collaboration & Leadership:
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with latest tools and trends in QA automation
• Drive innovation in testing processes and tools adoption

Salary Range: >$100,000
