IT-OT Infrastructure & Cyber Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT-OT Infrastructure & Cyber Architect in Parsippany, NJ.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for defining the long-term architecture and standards for secure, scalable, and resilient IT and OT infrastructure across both corporate and manufacturing environments
* Designs and governs technologies including networks, servers, cloud platforms, identity systems, and industrial control environments while ensuring alignment with business, operational, and safety requirements; A significant focus is on securing ICS, DCS, PLC, SCADA, and plant network environments while supporting IT/OT convergence and maintaining uptime and reliability
* Embeds cybersecurity best practices into infrastructure designs, leveraging frameworks such as NIST, IEC 62443, and Zero Trust to guide network security, access management, monitoring, and risk mitigation
* Supports governance, compliance, audits, and risk assessments while maintaining architecture standards, documentation, and enterprise-wide technology roadmaps

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong background in network, server, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure (on prem and hybrid)
* Experience with identity and access management, directory services, and authentication platforms
* Experience designing secure architectures for segmented networks, privileged access, monitoring, and resilience
* Proven experience designing infrastructure with built-in cybersecurity controls
* Hands-on knowledge of OT/ICS architectures, including plant networks and industrial protocols
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443)
* Ability to translate cybersecurity requirements into practical infrastructure designs

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
