Service Sales Application Engineer

Johnson Controls seeks a Service Sales Application Engineer to drive growth in commercial real estate and industrial markets. You will design smart, sustainable building service solutions, develop proposals, and provide technical support to sales teams. Responsibilities include site assessments, solution design for HVAC, controls, and building systems, cost estimation, and customer presentations. Collaborating closely with operations and engineering, you'll ensure high-performing, safe, and innovative offerings that improve building efficiency and reliability while supporting long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop service proposals and technical solutions for commercial real estate and industrial customers
• Support sales teams with site assessments, solution design, and application engineering
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to ensure feasible, cost-effective offerings
• Build and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders
• Analyze customer facilities to identify retrofit, service, and upgrade opportunities
• Prepare estimates, scopes of work, and technical documentation
• Support contract negotiations with technical and commercial input
• Track pipeline activity and support forecasting for service sales
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all solutions
• Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers
