Pay Rate: $81-88, Based on experience
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior SharePoint Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and delivering SharePoint-based solutions that improve collaboration, document management, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis skills, extensive experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365, and the ability to lead solution design and implementation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions to improve efficiency and collaboration.
- Design functional specifications, workflows, information architecture, and user requirements.
- Configure and support SharePoint Online sites, document libraries, lists, permissions, and content management solutions.
- Collaborate with SharePoint developers, architects, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Lead workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Develop process maps, business process documentation, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Support the Microsoft Power Platform solutions
- Create dashboards, reports, and documentation to monitor project progress and solution effectiveness.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, and solution validation.
- Develop end-user documentation, training materials, and conduct user training sessions.
- Support change management initiatives and user adoption activities.
- Ensure SharePoint governance, compliance, security, and document management best practices are followed.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of Business Analyst experience, including 5+ years supporting SharePoint or Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Zoom and Slack
- Experience creating business process flows, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint permissions, content management, metadata, and governance.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and change management activities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder communication and Stakeholder management skills.
