Overview

We are recruiting for a contract opportunity within an investment bank based in London. This role sits within a team responsible for ongoing reporting processes and ECB-related activity.

The team is currently strengthening and formalising its governance framework, and they are looking for someone who can help build and embed robust governance structures, controls, and processes. This is not a traditional audit role. It would suit someone who can bring structure, governance discipline, reporting capability, and strong analytical support to a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of governance frameworks
• Help establish and improve controls and reporting processes
• Assist with ongoing reporting activity and governance documentation
• Produce clear, structured reporting packs and management information
• Perform data analysis and work with structured datasets in Excel
• Support issue validation and remediation activity where required
• Coordinate across stakeholders and assist with project or PMO-related activity
• Respond to queries from senior stakeholders and support governance-related communication

Required experience

• Background in regulatory reporting, governance, or a highly regulated environment
• Experience establishing or enhancing governance frameworks, controls, and reporting processes
• Prior PMO or project coordination experience
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Confidence engaging with Boards, Senior Management, regulators, and a broad stakeholder group
• Strong Excel skills, including reporting packs, structured data handling, and analysis
• Experience with issue validation and remediation would be beneficial
