  • Manage environmental monitoring programmes covering emissions, water quality, odour, noise, dust and digestate quality.
  • Maintain the site's Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems, including procedures, risk assessments and controlled documentation.
  • Coordinate the audit programme, including regulatory inspections, ISO audits, customer audits and internal assessments, ensuring findings are closed out.
  • Oversee laboratory testing and sampling schedules, reviewing results and investigating any non-conformances.
  • Manage staff and contractor training, inductions and competency records, maintaining the site training matrix.
  • Ensure statutory inspections, equipment testing and calibration records are completed and kept up to date.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions, producing regular compliance reports for senior management.
  • Monitor contractor and supplier compliance, including competency checks, RAMS and insurance documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement across site compliance, environmental performance and management systems.

To be considered, you must have:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and document control systems.

Desirable experience

It would be an advantage, but is not essential, to have:

  • Knowledge of PAS110 certification and Animal By-Products Regulations (ABPR)
  • Experience working within a regulated industry, ideally renewable energy, anaerobic digestion, waste management or a similar process-based operation
