Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Hull<br />Up to £40,000<br />Permanent Shillito Group are working with an established manufacturing business in Hull to recruit a Quality Engineer. This is a hands on quality role, working across production, engineering and supply chain to help maintain standards, investigate issues and improve processes.

The role Investigating non conformances and quality issues<br />Carrying out root cause analysis and corrective actions<br />Supporting internal and external audits<br />Maintaining and improving the QMS<br />Working with suppliers on quality performance<br />Supporting inspections, product verification and new projects<br />Helping drive continuous improvement across the business What they're looking for Previous experience in a Quality role within manufacturing<br />Good understanding of ISO 9001<br />Experience with audits, non-conformances and root cause analysis<br />Comfortable working with engineering and production teams<br />A practical, problem-solving approachExperience within engineering, marine, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment would be useful, but isn't essential.
