System Engineer Lvl 3 – Cloud, Infrastructure & SIEM Engineering with Security Clearance

The System Engineer Level 3 provides senior level systems engineering leadership across requirements analysis, system architecture, integration, testing, and lifecycle management. This position supports cross functional Agile teams and leads the design and operation of hybrid cloud environments, enterprise infrastructure, and security focused systems. Responsibilities
• Lead cross functional Agile teams to streamline development and integration of complex systems
• Perform systems engineering duties including requirements analysis, architecture development, functional allocation, and interface definition
• Develop and maintain system engineering documentation (SEPs, ICDs, specifications, DoDAF views, WBS, IMP)
• Support system integration, verification planning, risk management, and configuration control
• Ensure technical integrity of evolving system baselines throughout the lifecycle
• Provide Tier 3 systems and security engineering support for Splunk based SIEM systems
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues, assess designs, and maintain system compliance Key Technical Requirements
• Experience administering and troubleshooting:
– Windows Server 2022, Windows 10/11
– Linux distributions such as Rocky, CentOS, and RHEL
– Environments spanning both cloud and on premises
• Experience architecting, deploying, and maintaining AWS environments, including:
– EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, AMIs, Route 53, Workspaces, and core AWS services
• In depth knowledge of cloud networking, including:
– VPCs, subnets, transit gateways, TGW attachments, TGW route tables
– Direct Connect and network peering
• Desired experience with automation and provisioning tools such as:
– Terraform, Salt, Ansible, BigFix
• Ability to maintain and support hybrid cloud/on prem infrastructure Qualifications
• Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph — No exceptions
• 20 years of Systems Engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Five (5) additional years of SE experience may substitute for a degree
• Must have one IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE)
