The Role: • Operate specialized heavy equipment to safely and efficiently move shipping containers within an intermodal yard. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks using equipment such as hostlers, top loaders, and cranes. • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate container movements with yard personnel and supervisors to maintain workflow. • Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. What You'll Need: • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. • Demonstrated ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. • Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
