Job Description

Role - Snowflake Architect 

Location - 100% Remote 

Visa - Any 

 

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level data solutions using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud data warehousing, data modeling, and performance tuning, with the ability to lead architecture decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions.

  • Develop and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage.

  • Define best practices for Snowflake usage, security, and performance.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance on data modeling and schema design.

  • Integrate Snowflake with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt, Matillion).

  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.

  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Snowflake Architect or Senior Data Engineer.

  • Strong expertise in Snowflake features: virtual warehouses, micro-partitions, clustering, query optimization.

  • Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

  • Hands-on knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks.

  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Snowflake certification(s).

  • Experience with Python or Scala for data engineering.

  • Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

  • Background in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
