Location: Springfield, VA (3 days a week onsite) - 22150

Duration: Full Time

Certification:

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, CCSP or equivalent.

Summary:

• We are seeking a Cloud Architect/Lead Cloud Engineer to lead architecture, engineering, operations, security, automation, and optimization of enterprise AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid-cloud environments.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Architect and engineer secure, scalable AWS/Azure cloud environments.
• Support IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtual machines, containers, networking, storage, and cloud-native services.
• Develop hybrid-cloud integration and migration strategies.
• Implement cloud IAM, security policies, logging, monitoring, backup, and recovery.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code and automated provisioning.
• Support CI/CD and DevSecOps capabilities.
• Establish cloud operational standards and guardrails.
• Monitor performance, availability, capacity, and security.
• Perform cloud cost analysis, rightsizing, and optimization.
• Support cloud disaster recovery and resilience.
• Lead complex cloud troubleshooting and technical escalations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS and/or Azure engineering.
• Experience with enterprise hybrid-cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, security, automation, monitoring, and DevSecOps.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 environments preferred.

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, CCSP or equivalent.
