AWS Cloud Operations Engineer(need locals)

Job Summary

We are looking for an AWS Cloud Operations Engineer to support day-to-day AWS cloud operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, automation, and production support. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on AWS infrastructure experience and be comfortable working with application, infrastructure, security, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support AWS services including EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, RDS, Route 53, Load Balancers, and Auto Scaling.
• Monitor AWS environments using CloudWatch and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Support production incidents, changes, maintenance, patching, and root-cause analysis.
• Manage IAM roles, policies, security groups, encryption, and access controls.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Use AWS Systems Manager for patching, inventory, configuration, and remote administration.
• Support backups, recovery, disaster recovery, and availability improvements.
• Monitor AWS performance and costs and assist with resource optimization.
• Create and maintain runbooks, documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
• Work with application, infrastructure, security, and development teams to resolve issues and improve cloud operations.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Operations, Cloud Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, RDS, Route 53, ELB, Auto Scaling, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Linux and/or Windows server administration.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
• Experience with monitoring, incident management, change management, and production support.
• Knowledge of cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with AWS Systems Manager.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation.
• Experience supporting enterprise production environments.
• AWS certification is a plus.
