Job Title: Product Development Project Manager (Automotive SDV)

Location: Greensboro, NC (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Potential Extension)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Project Manager to lead cross-functional automotive development programs in a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) environment. The ideal candidate will have strong project/program management experience combined with a technical background in embedded software, electrical systems, or automotive product development.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of Project/Program Management experience
• Automotive product development experience
• Experience managing embedded software and hardware integration projects
• Knowledge of Software Defined Vehicles (SDV), ECUs, or electrical systems
• Strong understanding of software integration, verification & validation (V&V), and systems engineering
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
• Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills:

• Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
• Systems Architecture
• Agile/SAFe methodologies
• Supplier and vendor management
• Budget and resource planning

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end product development projects from concept through production.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across software, electrical, systems, testing, and integration.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and executive stakeholders.
• Track project progress and communicate status to leadership.
• Drive successful execution using Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.

Location Requirement: Candidates must be able to work 100% onsite in Greensboro, NC.
