Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager SCM

Location: Raleigh, NC

Work Schedule: 2 Days On-Site / 3 Days Remote

Duration: Long Term Role! At least one year with possibility for extension.

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire opportunity based on performance and business need.

Responsibilities

Working with a cross functional team to provide world class on-time supply chain support during project, tender and execution phases to the Project delivery and service organization. Purchase materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

  • Planning and executing procurement activities for tender and project activities in order to support project objective achievement in terms of cost/budget, schedule and supply quality.
  • Maintaining a primary interface with the sales and execution teams.
  • Planning and ensuring appropriate implementation and compliance to SCM instructions.
  • Monitoring procurement status and updating teams as necessary.
  • Proactively working to resolve issues related to procurement cost, quality and delivery.
  • Ensuring that RFQs are issued in compliance to the sourcing strategy.
  • Ensuring cost reduction and KPI targets are met.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers in partnership with NAM and Global Category Management teams.

Qualifications

Education

  • Education in supply chain management or related field.

Experience

  • 5 Years of experience in the domain with proven track record.
  • Professional experience in a supply chain function and in a project environment.
