We have Contract role Quality Assurance -Entry Level for our client at Columbus, OH. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
Position Details: Quality Assurance -Entry Level- Columbus, OH Location : Columbus, OH 43219 (Onsite) Project Duration : 9+ Months of contract Pay Rate : $22.50 per hour on W2
Job Description: Seeking a motivated and detailoriented Quality Assurance Project Leader to support ingredient quality and supplier change management activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring ingredient compliance, maintaining robust documentation, and driving crossfunctional alignment across the supply chain. The ideal candidate brings a background in food science or a related discipline, strong written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a regulated environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with suppliers and internal partners while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and manage supplier change notifications, including tracking status through completion.
- Coordinate crossfunctional assessments of supplier changes to evaluate quality and compliance impact.
- Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders.
- Support implementation of downstream process changes related to approved supplier notifications.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation to ensure traceability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier change notification and quality processes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional partners including R&D, Procurement, Operations, and Quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Food Science, Nutrition Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- 1 3 years of experience in a regulated food or nutrition industry.
- Working knowledge of ingredient quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
