About the roleThis is a Fixed Term Position until 30 July 2027
The Test Lead leads testing for the Victorian Transport Digital Engineering (VTDE) program, ensuring fit-for-purpose digital solutions are delivered through effective testing strategies, quality assurance, and governance. The role develops enterprise testing frameworks, oversees test planning, and provides expert advice on testing risks, quality, and deployment readiness.

- Uses strong digital and technology expertise to improve service delivery and support successful business and digital transformation.
- Drives innovation and continuous improvement by identifying better ways of working, encouraging new ideas, and embedding quality and efficiency.
- Focuses on customer and community outcomes by understanding stakeholder needs, managing quality risks, and delivering services that create lasting value.
- Experience delivering testing across waterfall, agile and hybrid project environments. (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with TestRail, JIRA, SQL and ALM. (mandatory)
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with automation testing experience being an advantage. (desirable)
