Lead UX Designer - Power BI & Pharma Commercial Domain

A UX leader who combines strong user-centered design expertise with deep Power BI dashboard design experience and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end User Experience (UX) design initiatives for analytics, reporting, and commercial intelligence applications within the pharmaceutical domain.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, commercial operations teams, data analysts, and technical teams to understand business goals and translate them into intuitive user experiences.
• Design user-centered experiences for Power BI dashboards, reporting portals, data visualization platforms, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and persona development to identify user needs and pain points.
• Define and maintain UX strategy, design standards, interaction patterns, and accessibility guidelines across products.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, user flows, information architecture, and high-fidelity designs.
• Champion data storytelling and visualization best practices to improve business decision-making.
• Partner with Power BI developers, data engineers, and business intelligence teams to ensure seamless implementation of UX designs.
• Drive design thinking workshops and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align stakeholders on product vision.
• Establish UX governance and ensure consistency across multiple applications and dashboards.
• Mentor junior UX designers and contribute to the growth of the UX practice within the organization.
• Ensure solutions comply with pharmaceutical industry standards, data privacy requirements, and enterprise design guidelines.
• Measure and improve user adoption, usability, and customer satisfaction through continuous feedback and analytics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of overall UX/UI experience.

• Good experience with Power BI.
• Proven experience in the Pharma Commercial domain.
• Strong experience designing enterprise applications, analytics platforms, and business intelligence solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing user experiences for Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and data visualization solutions.
• Deep understanding of UX methodologies
• Strong expertise in data visualization principles and dashboard design best practices.
• Proficiency with UX and prototyping tools  
• Experience collaborating with Agile/Scrum product teams.
• Ability to translate complex business and data requirements into intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
• Experience working closely with BI developers, data engineers, and analytics teams.
