UX Designer /Mobile apps (only locals to TX who can do F2F client round)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer – Native App Design to drive user‑centered design for native and hybrid mobile applications. This role requires strong mobile product thinking, hands‑on design expertise, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver intuitive, performant, and scalable mobile experiences.

You will be responsible for shaping end‑to‑end mobile user experiences, driving design quality, and ensuring consistency across iOS and Android platforms while aligning with business and technical goals.

MUST HAVES:

• Extensive native mobile app research, strategy and design experience across iOS and Android
• Experience with Design system creation, integration, and governance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end UX design for mobile applications (iOS & Android) from discovery through delivery
• Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research activities, synthesizing findings into actionable design recommendations for native iOS and Android applications.
• Define and execute mobile‑first design strategies, considering platform conventions, gestures, navigation patterns, and constraints
• Translate business requirements and user insights into mobile user journeys, task flows, wireframes, and high‑fidelity UI designs
• Design intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences for customer‑facing mobile applications (insurance or finance experience is an added advantage)
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Analytics, and QA teams to define, build, and refine mobile features
• Ensure usability, accessibility (WCAG / mobile accessibility standards), performance considerations, and consistency across mobile experiences
• Contribute to and evolve mobile design systems, UI components, interaction patterns, and platform‑specific guidelines
• Support shaping mobile experience strategy, shaping product direction, influencing roadmap priorities, and guiding design quality across teams.
• Apply hands-on experience with Material Design (Android) and Apple Human Interface Guidelines (iOS) to deliver platform-native experiences, while balancing brand identity and cross-platform consistency
• Clearly present mobile design concepts, rationale, and trade‑offs to stakeholders and leadership

Engage in defining design governance, design mentorship, and cross-functional decision-making with other key members of project teams
