Requirement:

Title: Manufacturing Administrative Assistant

Also known as: Administrative Coordinator – Production Support, Manufacturing Coordinator, Production Administrative Assistant, Production Coordinator, Manufacturing Operations Coordinator.

Location: Bakersfield, CA 93308

Pay Rate: $21/hr on W2 All Inclusive

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM; occasional Saturday OT as needed

Job Type: Contract (12+ months)

Mnadatory Skills: Candidates should have admin experience - data entry, excel, reviewing documents, has attention to detail and be very pc savvy

Job Summary

Seeking a Manufacturing Administrative Assistant to support production, inventory, receiving, shipping, QA, MRP, and manufacturing documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative, data entry, documentation, and Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain production, inventory, employee, and manufacturing records.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain documentation.
  • Support inventory management, cycle counting, labeling, and production scheduling.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, MRP, QA, Receiving, and Shipping teams.
  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets and ensure manufacturing paperwork is accurate.
  • Assist with document control and special projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of administrative, manufacturing, or related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong data entry, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with metric measurements and perform basic calculations.
  • Basic understanding of SPC/manufacturing metrics preferred.
  • 45+ WPM typing.
  • Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.

Preferred: Manufacturing experience, MRP/ERP, inventory, QA, document control, or chemical/mechanical manufacturing experience.
