Summary: • Design and develop backend services and APIs in Rust. • Architect and implement authentication and authorization frameworks. • Apply advanced networking expertise, including TCP/IP protocols, VPN architectures, DNS management, and network security contr ols. • Build highly available, scalable service components. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing. • Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud architectures, focusing on cloud-native design patterns and operational best practices. • Requires strong Rust application development and optimized application development. Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 10+ years • Total Compensation: $301k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • Design and develop backend services and APIs in Rust for a cloud-based platform that manages fleet lifecycle operations including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, firmware updates, and policy enforcement across multiple high assurance devices. • Architect and implement authentication and authorization frameworks for secure device-to-cloud communication. • Demonstrate advanced networking expertise including TCP/IP protocols, routing, subnetting, VPN architectures, load balancing strategies, DNS management, and network security contr ols such as firewalls, security groups, and network segmentation for secure cloud and on-premises environments. • Build highly available, scalable service components for telemetry ingestion, health monitoring, configuration distribution, and alerting across a distributed device fleet. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of cloud-to-device interactions. • Familiarity with AWS networking services, tools, infrastructure as code and CDK development. • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud architectures with a strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns, service integration, and operational best practices. • Experience with Rust application development. • Experience with compute and memory optimized application development.
