Experience

• Experience in Java-based distributed, highly scalable e-commerce backend system design and development using Kafka, REST APIs, No-SQL, and SQL databases.
• Strong Java skills with 5-7 years of hands-on experience.
• Must-have skills: Java, Kafka, REST APIs, No-SQL, SQL Databases.
• Proficient in Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Hands-on worker type with strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and minimal need for hand-holding.

Responsibilities

• Build platforms and systems infrastructure using a strong background in distributed systems, network system design, and large-scale database systems.
• Research, analyze, design, develop, and test solutions that align with business and technology strategies.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and project-related team meetings.
• Collaborate with other engineers, Architecture, Product Management, and Operations teams to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs in terms of functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development principles and quality goals.
• Develop technical and domain expertise and apply it to solving product challenges.
