Job Description –

We are seeking a contractor to partner closely with a leader across multiple initiatives. This person will keep commitments moving, make progress and risks visible, and turn complex technical work into clear proposals and updates for stakeholders and leadership. The ideal candidate acts quickly, takes ownership, and communicates proactively. They do not wait to be asked for a status update or reminded to follow up. They identify what needs attention, pursue answers, and bring forward concise updates and recommendations.
Responsibilities -
-Attend key meetings, capture decisions and action items, and maintain clear owners, due dates, and next steps.
-Follow up rigorously with action owners, track commitments through completion, and escalate delays or unresolved dependencies early.
-Maintain a consolidated view of initiative status, milestones, risks, decisions needed, and upcoming work.
-Prepare leadership presentations, initiative proposals, project status reports, and stakeholder communications. Tailor the level of detail to the audience.
-Create clear diagrams that show system relationships, integrations, workflows, and dependencies, working with technical owners to confirm accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Experience in technical program management, strategic initiatives, business operations, or a similar role supporting multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong ownership and follow-through: a demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous discussions into concrete actions and drive them to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to synthesize detailed information into concise leadership materials.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills and the ability to create effective diagrams and status reporting using appropriate tools.
• Working knowledge of how software systems interact. The candidate should be comfortable discussing APIs, RESTful services, XML, message queues (MQ), and common AWS components such as API Gateway. Hands-on engineering experience is welcome but is not required.
• Sound judgment about when to work independently, when to seek clarification, and when to escalate a risk or decision.
