Project Manager – API External Manufacturing
Pay rate: $75/hr

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46285

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support API external manufacturing and commercial supply initiatives with CMO/CDMO partners. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams and drive project execution in a GMP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities between Lilly and CMO/CDMO partners.
• Support quality oversight, supply coordination, CAPA, deviations, and change controls.
• Track project risks and develop mitigation/contingency plans.
• Manage project communications and provide updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support project budgets, financial governance, and cost tracking.
• Drive phase-gate/stage-gate project processes and continuous improvement.
• Maintain project documentation and coordinate multiple workstreams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical operations experience.
• Experience managing commercial or external manufacturing projects with CMO/CDMO partners.
• Strong experience with GMP, quality, supply chain, CAPA, deviations, and change controls.
• Strong project management, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Regulatory, and Finance.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
• PMP, advanced degree, or project management/validation certification preferred.
