The Role • Assemble and lens fiber optic cables according to product specifications, following diagrams. • Prepare fiber optic cable for polishing and complete the process to meet stringent specifications. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates to align, fit, and assemble component parts. • Verify dimensions and clearances using precise measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. • Examine parts for defects, perform necessary repairs or rework, and calibrate assemblies. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by strictly adhering to all procedures and regulations. What You'll Need • High degree of manual dexterity and fine motor skills. • Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, travelers, and standard operating procedures. • Experience using microscopes for product inspection to ensure top-tier quality. • U.S. Person status is required due to ITAR regulations. • Familiarity with standard assembly concepts, practices, and procedures. • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
