About the Job- We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, Spark, Scala, AI/ML, GenAI along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.

 

Job Description:

• Seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer with strong experience building scalable data products and high-volume data pipelines.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SQL, Spark, Scala, modern data platforms, and lakehouse technologies, with a focus on performance, reliability, and data quality.

 

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platform development
• Strong SQL, Spark, and Scala
• Large-scale data pipeline development and optimization
• Production experience with data processing and distributed systems
• Data modeling, analytics, and metric design
• Experience with modern Data Lakehouse technologies
• Apache Iceberg, Trino, Superset
• Data quality, scalability, performance, and reliability
• Complex data troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
• Experience developing analytical data products
• Exposure to AI/ML, GenAI, RAG, recommendation systems, or feature engineering is a plus
