Insurance Sales Rep
, your day will revolve around prospecting, selling insurance to new and existing customers, working agency-provided internet leads, and answering inbound sales calls from prospects responding to direct mail.

You’ll need to be comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls, staying focused on your goals, and having genuine conversations that help people find the right coverage. The agency was purchased in January 2025 after its owner spent years as the operating manager. You’ll have hands-on training, warm leads, licensing assistance, and an environment where the sales team competes in a healthy way and helps one another succeed. The base starts at $20 per hour
, with bonus and commission opportunities.

First-year earners in this office average $70,000 a year; PTO, paid holidays, a 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and ongoing professional development are also part of the package. For someone who performs well and wants more responsibility, this role can eventually grow into a Sales Manager position. Prospect for new and existing customer sales. Answer inbound sales calls from direct-mail prospects. Sell insurance policies based on customer needs. Meet agency sales goals and standards. Insurance license required. Enjoys speaking with and helping people.
