Application Support Engineer (Engineering Applications)

Location: Overland Park, KS 66211 (Onsite)

Duration: Contract

Experience Required

• 5 8 years of experience in Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) within an Engineering environment.
• Experience supporting engineering and business-critical applications.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Candidates should have at least 4 of the following skills:

• Bluebeam
• Adobe Suite
• Microsoft Office
• Autodesk Applications
• Bentley Applications
• Basic SQL
• Basic understanding of CAD Applications
• HQMS
• Clarity
• Production/Application Support

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, and Engineering Applications.
• Provide Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) for engineering applications.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and hybrid cloud issues.
• Manage and resolve Severity 1 & Severity 2 incidents, ensuring timely service restoration.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.
• Follow ITIL best practices, including:
  • Incident Management
  • Problem Management
  • Change Management
  • Knowledge Management
• Track and report incidents using ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred).
• Communicate technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a production support environment.
