Job Title: SAP Solution Architect

Location: Miami, FL _ Onsite 

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, challenge, and shape the end-to-end S/4HANA solution roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and target architecture.
• Validate solution designs against business requirements, end-to-end processes, architecture principles, and S/4HANA best practices.
• Provide architecture and functional guidance across S/4HANA Logistics and IS-Oil, including integration with Finance and surrounding enterprise applications.
• Provide functional assurance across key logistics processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Inventory & Warehouse Management, Order-to-Cash, Transportation, Supply Chain, and Materials Management.
• Assess Oil & Gas-specific logistics requirements, including hydrocarbon supply and distribution, product movements, bulk logistics, inventory, quantity conversion, terminal/depot processes, and associated commercial processes.
• Evaluate cross-functional solution decisions and identify gaps, dependencies, integration impacts, risks, and potential technical debt.
• Promote Fit-to-Standard, simplification, and clean-core principles, challenging unnecessary customization and complexity.
• Provide independent solution governance and oversight alongside the IBM team, ensuring designs remain consistent with the agreed roadmap and business outcomes.
• Participate in Design Authority and Architecture Review forums and provide recommendations on key design decisions and exceptions.
• Act as the bridge between business, functional, and technical teams, translating business requirements into scalable, integrated, and sustainable S/4HANA solutions.
• Constructively challenge System Integrator recommendations while maintaining a collaborative, outcome-focused relationship.

Required Experience & Skills

• Extensive experience as an SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect, Logistics Architect, or senior functional architect on large transformation programs.
• Strong functional expertise across SAP Logistics, particularly MM, SD, Inventory/Warehouse, Transportation, and supply-chain processes.
• Strong understanding of SAP IS-Oil and Oil & Gas downstream/logistics business processes.
• Proven ability to architect and assess end-to-end, cross-functional S/4HANA solutions, rather than individual modules in isolation.
• Strong understanding of integration between Logistics, IS-Oil, Finance, data, and non-SAP applications.
• Experience reviewing and challenging solution designs delivered by large System Integrators.
• Experience with architecture governance, Design Authority, and complex multi-vendor SAP programs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to advise senior business, IT, and program leadership
