Regarding the requirements, we are looking for a with extensive experience in Salesforce Education Cloud, SIS architecture, and prior experience working in a university environment. The position is 100% remote, the contract duration is through September 2028
We're looking for a Senior Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the architecture and technical direction of a Salesforce Education Cloud Student Information System (SIS) implementation within the higher education sector.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 12+ years of IT experience
• 8+ years of Salesforce experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect
• Hands-on architect experience on at least one full-lifecycle Student Information System implementation built on Salesforce Education Cloud, from design through go-live
• Strong higher education domain expertise, including: Student lifecycle, Registrar operations, Course catalog and scheduling, Registration and enrollment, Grading and academic records, Degree audit, and Student financials.
• Deep expertise in Salesforce Education Cloud and Education Data Architecture (EDA)
• Strong Salesforce platform expertise, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Flow, Apex, and Lightning Web Components
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft or comparable middleware, and ETL tools
• Experience integrating with SIS platforms such as Ellucian Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, or Workday Student
• Experience leading large-scale student and academic data migrations
• Strong understanding of FERPA, data governance, privacy, security, and accessibility
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, environment strategy, and release management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own end-to-end solution architecture from discovery through go-live and hypercare
• Architect the SIS on Salesforce Education Cloud
• Design and govern the Education Cloud data model
• Define integration architecture with legacy and enterprise systems
• Lead data migration, reconciliation, and cutover planning
• Design Salesforce security and sharing models
• Establish technical testing and deployment strategies
• Guide developers, administrators, and business analysts
• Lead architecture reviews and technical design decisions
• Partner with higher education leadership and IT stakeholders

PREFERRED

• Salesforce Education Cloud Accredited Professional
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
• Platform Integration Architect or Data Architect
• Experience with Agentforce, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Slate
• Master's degree in a technical or higher education administration field
