Location: Derby City Centre (Office Based)
Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
The Opportunity
Cherry Professional are delighted to be recruiting for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join a successful and well-established professional services organisation based in Derby city centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small marketing team where you will play a key role in delivering engaging campaigns, supporting events, managing digital content and helping to raise brand awareness both internally and externally.
The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with strong communication skills and previous experience in a Marketing Assistant or Marketing Executive position.
Key Responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms
• Assist with the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
• Maintain and update website content, ensuring information remains accurate and relevant
• Manage and update customer and prospect data within the CRM system
• Liaise with external PR partners, agencies and suppliers
• Support the promotion and delivery of networking, client and wellbeing events
• Assist with the organisation and coordination of both virtual and face-to-face events
• Create marketing materials and collateral to support business objectives
• Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting where required
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing activities

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience within a Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Executive role
• Strong social media and digital marketing knowledge
• Experience using CRM systems and maintaining marketing databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A creative mindset with the confidence to bring forward new ideas
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• A collaborative and positive approach to teamwork
• Experience supporting events and stakeholder engagement activities

A marketing qualification or degree would be advantageous, although practical marketing experience is equally valued.
