Job Description

About
Coric designs, distributes, and supports material handling equipment and solutions — forklifts, racking and storage systems, and warehouse automation — for customers across manufacturing, distribution, and logistics. As Coric expands its branch and distribution network, we're looking for a Director of Sales to drive Product Sales growth across the Midwest region. Overview
Lead our material handling sales efforts throughout the Midwest (OH and MI) by actively growing and mentoring a high-performing sales team.

This team is responsible for sales of New & Used Forklifts, Floorcare Equipment and other various Warehouse Storage Products for the Midwest region. Key responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop and Implement Regional Strategy – Work with senior leadership to create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligning with overall company objectives. Set Quarterly Sales Goals & Quotas for Field Sales Managers and Sellers – Establish clear, measurable objectives for each Salesperson and their respective territories.

Market Trends – Stay up-to-date on market trends, market share, regional competitors, and customer needs to make data driven decisions. Identify opportunities for cross-selling (across pallet rack, conveyor, automation, docks and doors and forklifts) within your region and across your teams. Annual Budget – Work with senior leadership to establish annual budget for the region and manage allocation of resources, ensuring overall profitability.

Management & Coaching
Recruit and Hire – Lead recruitment efforts and hiring of approved new Field Salespeople and Field Sales Managers to support the growth of the region. Onboard and Train – Educate your team on products, CRM, sales processes and best practices held by the company. Implement Training Program in coordination with Key OEMs for the Region.

Performance Tracking – Monitor and report out on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) via CRM for each Salesperson and Sales Manager, including but not limited to: Calls, Appointments, Quote Activity, Order Intake, Revenue, Gross Profit, Market Share and YoY Growth. Cross-Functional Relationships
Strategic Partnerships - Collaborate with Strategic OEMs and drive customer relationships for the Region in tandem with Regional Operations Director (your Aftermarket peer).

Department Collaboration – Identify Opportunities for Cross-Collaboration of multiple business functions within the organization to promote overall growth for the region.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year University
Proven Success in Field Sales (1-3 years) and/or B2B Sales (1-3 years)
Experience Building & Managing a Team (3+ years)
Prior Experience in Sales Leadership
Prior Experience in Material Handling Industry
