Senior Mainframe Software Engineer / Security is a plus

A semi-conductor manufacturing company is looking to bring on a Senior Mainframe Software Engineer. You'll develop secure applications in complex enterprise environments. Candidates must have deep experience modernizing legacy applications and COBOL, C, and Java. You'll evolve their platform to meet modern security standards and secure software development. Experience developing mainframe and distributed systems is required.

Ideal candidates also have cybersecurity experience or a willingness to learn. Skills include application security, authentication, authorization, cryptography, and TLS implementations.

This role is onsite in Plano, TX.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in mainframe development
• Experience working with mainframes and distributed systems
• Experience with COBOL, C, and Java development
• Experience in application security, authentication and authorization, cryptography, and TLS implementations a big plus

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
