ServiceNow Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a ServiceNow Developer in Westlake, TX.

Duties Include

• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules using JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer, and other platform tools
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow forms, workflows, client scripts, business rules, UI policies, and integrations
• Participate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
• Build and maintain REST and SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
• Ensure code and solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, including upgrade and scalability considerations
• Collaborate with QA for testing and deployment in lower environments before production rollout

Secondary Responsibilities - Systems Analysis (20%):

• Work with business stakeholders to capture and document functional and technical requirements
• Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes to recommend improvements or automation using ServiceNow
• Translate business requirements into actionable stories and technical specifications
• Assist in user training, documentation, and support for deployed features and improvements
• Support release planning and coordination across teams as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Proven understanding of ServiceNow architecture and development best practices
• Experience with HRSD ServiceNow module is a bonus
• Experience with technologies: JavaScript, REST, HTML, CSS, Jira, Angular
• Familiarity with systems analysis, business process modeling, and requirements gathering
• Problem-solving mindset and a passion for building scalable solutions
• Strong communication skills - both technical and non-technical
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Agile/Scrum project methodology familiarity
• Good to have ServiceNow Certifications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
