The Role

• Provide comprehensive care and support to elderly residents, focusing on both their medical needs and overall well-being.
• Perform essential nursing duties including wound care, pressure sore prevention, and professional dressing.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, promoting mobility and independence.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of resident care, adhering to established standards.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless shift handovers and continuity of care.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training as a geriatric nurse, or equivalent qualification in nursing.
• Proven experience in basic care, mobilization techniques, and activating care for seniors.
• Proficiency in wound management, decubitus prophylaxis, and professional dressing.
• Experience with nursing documentation and digital care planning systems.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
