Staff Business Analyst

TriNet is hiring a Staff Business Analyst to drive data-informed decisions across our HR technology and services. In this role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, define requirements, and translate client and internal needs into scalable solutions. You will build reports, dashboards, and workflow improvements that enhance client experience, compliance, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced, performance-driven, and collaborative environment. Ideal candidates bring strong analytical skills, HR or SaaS experience, and comfort working with both business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and workflows across HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance solutions.
• Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to design and validate solutions.
• Support testing, user acceptance, and rollout of new features and process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve client experience and internal efficiency.
• Ensure solutions align with regulatory, compliance, and risk standards.
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices in business analysis.
