Job Responsibility
Requirements Management & Analysis
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, validate and maintain business and technical requirements.
Ensure requirements are complete, testable, traceable, and aligned with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and regulatory requirements.
Create business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, data requirements, integration requirements, and non-functional requirements.
Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to identify business needs, pain points, solution options, dependencies, and technical constraints.
Ensure business requirements, technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria are documented with sufficient detail to support solution design, development, testing, implementation, and operational support.
Establish and maintain end-to-end traceability between business objectives, requirements, solution design, acceptance criteria, validation activities, and delivered functionality.
Technology Partnership & Solution Delivery
Partner with architecture, engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data teams to translate business needs into scalable and supportable technology solutions.
Evaluate system capabilities, integrations, APIs, data flows, and cross-platform dependencies to support solution design and delivery decisions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and strategic partners.
Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure alignment, issue resolution, and successful delivery outcomes.
Identify risks, impacts, dependencies, and opportunities and provide recommendations for mitigation and resolution.
Perform advanced analysis and problem-solving to support complex technology initiatives and operational improvements.
Testing & Validation
Ensure requirements are defined in a manner that supports effective testing, automation, and validation throughout the software development lifecycle.
Develop test scenarios, acceptance criteria, validation strategies, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) materials.
Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure business and technical requirements are fully understood, testable, and traceable throughout solution delivery.
Lead requirements validation activities to confirm delivered solutions satisfy documented business and technical requirements.
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), stakeholder validation sessions, and production readiness reviews.
Support defect triage and resolution by assisting teams in determining whether issues are related to requirements, design, configuration, or implementation.
Ensure appropriate verification and validation activities are completed prior to implementation and during post-deployment stabilization.
Drive continuous improvement in requirements quality, acceptance criteria development, testing practices, and overall solution quality.
Job Qualifications
Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, requirements engineering, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid technology delivery methodologies.
Strong knowledge of application architecture, systems integration, APIs, data flows, and enterprise technology platforms.
Strong experience developing business requirements, functional requirements, technical requirements, user stories, process models, acceptance criteria, and workflow documentation.
Strong experience developing test scenarios, acceptance criteria, validation approaches, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies within technology delivery environments.
Strong knowledge of modern software engineering practices, quality engineering principles, test automation concepts, release management processes, and defect management practices.
Strong knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards, and best practices.
Strong understanding of technology governance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
Strong facilitation, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build consensus and effectively influence stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
Work Experience
3-5 years of prior analysis experience in Business Systems Analysis, Technology Delivery, Product Delivery, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
