Senior Workday Functional Analyst

SENIOR WORKDAY FUNCTIONAL ANALYST
The role will initially focus on Workday Financials, Procurement, and related Finance processes, with the potential to expand into broader Workday and Enterprise Applications capabilities as the organization's application portfolio evolves.This position will partner closely with the Workday Application Administrator/Platform Lead, business process owners, super users, and implementation/support partners.
Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Strategic Partnership: Act as a dedicated daily partner to Finance, IT, and other business stakeholders, translating financial policies, controls, and operational requirements into technical specifications.*
• Requirements and Future-State Design: Serve as the functional product owner for Workday Financials; manage intake, evaluate enhancement requests based on strategic value and risk, and maintain a long-term roadmap for system improvements.*
• Release Management: Lead functional coordination for biannual Workday releases, including impact analysis, regression testing, and feature adoption planning.*
• Process Optimization: Drive functional configuration activities and continuous improvement initiatives, prioritizing standard Workday functionality over custom solutions.*
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Oversee the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing, ensuring system changes meet financial and operational controls.*
• Empowerment & Support: Provide post go-live support, training, and change management to Finance users to drive platform adoption and user proficiency.*
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience with direct configuration ownership. Must have participated in at least one full-lifecycle Workday implementation.
