Location:Remote

Job Summary

  • Investigate reported security vulnerabilities through reproduction, root cause analysis, impact assessment, and CVSS severity scoring.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, validate, and track effective vulnerability remediations.
  • Coordinate with product, legal, privacy, and threat intelligence teams to ensure timely and aligned vulnerability response.
  • Communicate with customers and security researchers regarding vulnerability details, mitigations, and responsible disclosure timelines.
  • Maintain expertise in industry standards including CVE, CVSS, CNA, NIST, and FIRST for vulnerability management.
  • Develop automation and scripting solutions (Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell) to improve PSIRT workflows and vulnerability triage.
  • Perform reverse engineering, debugging, exploitability analysis, and secure software assessments for complex systems, including hotseat support.
  • Draft, review, and publish security advisories while driving continuous improvements to PSIRT processes, tools, and operational efficiency.
